Do you provide any assistance against virus / spyware attacks? |
These days when ever-new spywares, trojans, and viruses are ready to attack computers everyday in innovative ways, each PC Owner is at a huge risk. A study reveals that 8 out of 10 PC owners are exposed to such threats and their actions are watched by distant hackers. We provide skilled detection, removal and firewall-like protection against such virus / malware. |

Can you get back into my computer after my session is over? |
No, not until you log in again and request service. When you log in to Pandora Computer Service's online support center you are prompted to download a temporary desktop sharing application and supporting tools that allow us to view and interact with your computer. Once your service is complete and you log off, the temporary application and accompanying tools are automatically deleted from your PC. We can no longer see or access your computer |
 |
Is the remote support easy to use? |
It is very easy to use. You just need to allow our Expert to login into your computer through the Internet to be able to fix your computer issues directly. You can simply sit back and watch. Or, you can work on something else while the technician is fixing your computer. Online computer support is simple, convenient and, best of all, it's 'hands-free'. |
 |
Can you support older computers? |
The oldest computers we typically service are PCs that have a Windows 98 operating system. That would make a computer about 10+ years old. If your PC is older it is more difficult to correct problems and prevent new problems from happening. |
 |
Can you provide online support through a dial-up connection? |
Yes. However, in some cases, customers that have a dial-up Internet connection may experience longer online support sessions due to the limited connection speed. In addition, older PCs (over 3-4 yrs) running Windows 98 or Windows ME are less stable and can be more difficult to support through a dial-up connection. We recommend support through Online Chat for these systems. The ideal system requirements for online PC support are Windows 98/ME / XP / Vista and broadband/dsl connectivity is preferred. The dial-up option leads to slow remote support sessions. |
 |
Is your remote support safe? |
With the quick installation of our Remote Access software, a secure connection is made. The technician assigned to your account will have access to your computer in the same way that you do in the comfort of your own home. Throughout your session all information is transmitted using a 256-bit encryption to ensure the highest level of security. Once a connection has ended with your computer, our technicians no longer have the ability to access your computer remotely unless you give them permission to so again. |
